Attention motor carriers and drivers—time is running out!

The 2025 CVSA International Roadcheck is set for May 13–15, and preparation needs to start today if you want to stay compliant and avoid costly violations.
Every year, the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) holds this high-intensity, three-day inspection event across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Over 15 trucks and buses are inspected every minute during Roadcheck. If your paperwork, vehicles, or drivers are not ready, you could face serious fines—or even be taken off the road.

What Happens During International Roadcheck?

During this 72-hour blitz, inspectors focus on two key areas:
⦁ Driver Compliance
Inspectors will review driver credentials, licenses, medical certificates, drug and alcohol status, Hours-of-Service (HOS) logs, and more. Drivers must have clean, up-to-date records or risk being placed out of service immediately.
⦁ Vehicle Compliance
Expect a full 37-point Level I Inspection, including checks on brakes, tires, lights, steering mechanisms, frames, exhaust systems, and cargo securement. This year, extra attention will be paid to tire condition and inflation—a known cause of dangerous roadside breakdowns.
If violations are found, vehicles and drivers may be restricted until issues are corrected. Vehicles passing inspection may earn a CVSA decal valid for three months—an advantage at future stops.

Why You Must Act Now !

✅ The clock is ticking: As of today, you have less than two weeks to complete inspections, update documentation, and fix any mechanical issues.
✅ Inspectors won’t give second chances: Incomplete driver files, missing medical certifications, or mechanical defects will not be overlooked.
✅ Your reputation and business are on the line: Failing a roadside inspection can affect your DOT safety rating, insurance costs, and customer confidence.
