Regulatory Compliance

Biennial Update/MCS-150 Filing

Timely and accurate submission of the Biennial Update/ MCS-150 filing are critical data submissions that ensure carrier information, including fleet details, contact information, and safety records remain up to date.

DOT Regulations

USDOT Cancellation

Also known as a Voluntary Revocation. The USDOT cancellation effectively deactivates the USDOT number and separates liability. Process to close out the entity is completed within 48 hours.

Compliance STEPS

Driver Qualification File

Maintaining accurate and complete Driver Qualification Files (DQFs) are required for every driver operating under a USDOT number. Documentation such as driving records, medical certifications, and employment history will need to be prepared to present during your safety audit.

Alcohol testing

Drug and Alcohol Testing Program

Enrollment in a random selection Drug and Alcohol Testing Program is required for All drivers operating with a vehicle requiring a CDL or over 26,001 GVWR. (applicable to ALL owner-operators) Ensure safety audit requirements are met.

Driver Compliance

MC Authority – MC#

To transport freight across state lines (INTERSTATE) and FOR-HIRE, you will need to obtain a Motor Carrier Number (MC#) This is separate authority granted by the FMCSA. When operating it is mandatory to display both MC# and USDOT number on your vehicle.

DOT Regulations

BOC-3 Form

To activate your MC number, you are required to file a BOC-3 with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) The BOC-3 form contains a list of agents who will receive legal or official documents on your behalf and forward them to you. This is a mandatory requirement for finalizing your MC Authority.
